Results-Centred Leadership™

Results-Centred Leadership™ was developed and tested over a five-year period on over 600 participants representing large and small organizations, and individuals. This course takes established goals (like those developed through the Milestones course) and develops a team-driven action plan to achieve those goals. It centres on the team, promoting active cooperation between team members. Individual member goals are linked and tied to the success of the organization's goals.

Intended Audience

Leaders, not necessarily managers, within an organization and individuals with a desire to become leaders.

Duration

Twelve sessions, two are three hours and 10 are two hours long.

First Session

Expectations are set and the program process is described. Learning concepts are discussed and the Personal and Leadership Success Plans are introduced. Participants answer a pre-assessment questionnaire to show their current knowledge of leadership skills.

Conclusion

When participants have completed this course they have discussed and implemented various aspects of leadership and goals setting. By applying this information and these processes on the job they are able to see what fits their work setting and understand their particular challenges. They have had the opportunity to see the results of their efforts and have benefited from the insight of the other participants and the coach. The opportunity to apply their new skills while still participating in the learning experience ensures a higher success rate then with conventional classroom training.
