Most successful people will tell you that they wouldn’t have risen so high without having a great coach or mentor lifting them up.

Here’s a success strategy: Read all the best books and take out what you need. Then, put the ideas into practice and learn from your experience. Keep doing what works and change what doesn’t work.

Sounds like a good plan. But how come it doesn’t work for most people?... Time: that precious resource that you cannot regain. You cannot recycle ‘used’ time.

First, you have to find the right books: books that have useful, proven-to-work ideas. Then, you have to pour through them looking for appropriate ideas that you feel qualified to apply. Then you need to learn how to apply them to your situation. And finally, if it doesn’t work as well as you expected, you have to go back and repeat the whole process… with less confidence, I might add. You could become very old while you are learning how to do the right things, at the right time, in the right way.

Save yourself the trouble. You deserve better.
